Mr.Denuwan Wejewardana one of the leading web & graphic designers in Sri Lanka is the teacher of all our web & graphic designs. Personally he visited Mahalakotuwa Maha Vidyalaya to share his knowledge with us who are living in a very remote area. The following photographs were taken in his workshop which was organized to teach Flash and Photoshop softwares. After the workshop he instructed us to make a Digital Pandol as an assignment and we were able to exhibit that pandol on last wesak day.It was a novel and un forgettable experience to the villagers.Further more we could become the first group of the area who got such an effort ever before. Once he visited our school and gave us a new idea to make our school a Wi-Fi zone; by That time we were not aware about this field and he was the person who made us aware of requirements and establishment process of a Wi-Fi system. Mr.Rohana Bandaranayake the provincial council Minister gave his helping hand to fix it on 2008.06.28. Ours is the first Wi-Fi school in Sri Lanka. In addition our school holds the record of 1st school Unicode web site in SriLanka Mr.Denuwan gave his fullest contribution in that occation too. We use this opportunity to pay our heartiest and sincere gratitude to mr. Denuwan Wejewardana for his fullest co-operation on paving us the way to inspire the novel experiences of the technological world and the helps which he gave us to being a historical point in school level information technology in Srilanka. |
